Salem UMC: UMM

The Salem United Methodist Men provide service and support for our church and community in service to our Lord, Jesus Christ.

We meet on the first Sunday of the month at 6:30 PM during which we have a time of devotion, a meal, and a discussion of current business.   The meeting is open to the men of the church including newcomers to Salem.

UMM are involved in the following projects:

Feeding the Greenville Homeless Shelter - for the past 13 years Salem United Methodist Men have cooked and served a meal for the residents of the Greenville Community Shelter on the 4th Thursday of each month.  Homemade desserts are provided by the Salem United Methodist Women.

We welcome volunteers to help prepare or serve meals or make desserts.

If you would like to volunteer contact Roy & Pat Byrum.

The Living Last Supper- a living dramatization of "The Last Supper" performed annually at Easter time on Maundy Thursday.  We are now in our 18th year of production and have been able to "take the show on the road" for the past two years, doing performances in Snow Hill, Goldsboro as well as at Salem. We will be doing the performance only at Salem this year, on Maundy Thursday, April 13th, at 7:30 p.m.  Don't miss it!
