Habitat for Humanity

Perhaps you are interested in work team missions but can only offer help on a Saturday, or maybe you want to “test the waters” and find out what a work team is all about before you make a 2-3 day commitment.  If this is the case, then work on a Habitat for Humanity home is for you!  During the fall of 2005, Salem organized two Saturday work days in Greenville on Habitat homes and had outstanding participation.  We are making plans now to organize work days again this fall.  Watch and listen for the dates or contact Sue Purser if you are interested in volunteering.  Visit http://www.habitatpittco.org/index.htm for more information about the Habitat program in Pitt County.
